Admissions Requirements

Academic Requirements & Recommendations

  • Received a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Students with 75% of coursework completed toward a bachelor’s degree will also be considered.
  • A cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (4.0 scale) of all coursework.
  • A grade point average of 3.0 (4.0 scale) of all pre-requisite courses:

Medical College Admission Test (MCAT)

  • MCAT scores must be earned within three years of application
  • A preferred score of 504 demonstrates a greater opportunity for success

Letters of Recommendation

  • A pre-health committee/composite letter; or,
  • Three individual letter to include:
    • Two individual letters by ranked faculty members (at least one from science) who taught the applicant
    • One supervisor letter summarizing work, service, research, or clinical experience
  • A letter from a non-family member DO/MD is strongly recommended
