Have you ever wanted to support the doctors of tomorrow? Have you ever been curious about how doctors are trained? Now is your opportunity to support the future of Osteopathic Medical Education right here in Memphis!
Standardized Patient Actors support BUCOM students in various ways:
Actors may be asked to memorize a standardized script and act as a patient so students can practice their medical assessment and communication skills.
Actors may be asked to act as a model for faculty-led Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine sessions.
Actors may be asked to act as a proctor or similar type of role for exams.
BUCOM’s standardized patient program will support students, student learning, and all aspects of Medical Education throughout the four-year student experience. If you are interested in more information, please contact us today.
