BUCOM supports medical students as they engage in meaningful, mentored scholarly activity that is fully integrated into their osteopathic medical education. From developing project ideas to participating in hands-on research across clinical, basic science, educational, and community settings, students are guided through each stage of the research process while building critical skills in inquiry, analysis, and evidence-based practice. Emphasizing ethical conduct, collaboration, and professional growth, BUCOM fosters a research culture that prepares students to contribute to advancing patient care and the field of osteopathic medicine.
