BHSU Unveils Newly Renovated Health Sciences Library

On Monday, February 3rd, Baptist Health Sciences University proudly reopened its Health Sciences Library, showcasing renovations that are designed to enhance student learning and engagement. This transformation was made possible through a Predominantly Black Institutions (PBI) grant from the Department of Education. The grant has refreshed the library into a modern, student-centered hub.
Dr. Kim Cunningham, Dean of the Blue Healer Success Center, expressed the significance of the renovation, stating, "The library renovation transforms how Baptist University will inspire the minds of future health care professionals. The new space will improve campus engagement along with student success and retention."
Library Supervisor Vivi Britton echoed these sentiments, highlighting the team effort that made the renovations possible: "The Blue Healer Student Success Center is proud to unveil the newly renovated Health Sciences Library funded by a PBI grant through the Department of Education. Through the hard work of Dr. Kim Cunningham, Leanne Smith, and the library team, we’ve transformed a dated space into a library with flexible study spaces, new technology, and a welcoming atmosphere."
