Affordable Materials Program
What is the BU BookPass Program?
This program offers all students* access to all required course materials prior to the start of classes at a discounted fee per credit hour.
*This program is for BHSU Undergraduate students enrolled in general education and allied health specific courses. This program excludes NSG and BUCOM designated courses.
How It Works
All students are automatically enrolled* in the program when they register for their classes. Then, their required materials we be prepared by the campus store. Digital materials can be accessed by students through Canvas and students with physical materials will be emailed pickup instructions as applicable. Students who are not interested in the discounted, required materials can choose to opt out of the program each semester and purchase their own materials. Students who opt out are opting out for al their courses.

What are the opt-out dates for this academic year?
All students* are automatically included in BU BookPass; however, students may opt-out of the program during the following opt-out period:
Spring 2025: November 25, 2024 - January 13, 2025. You must opt-out by January 13th, 2025.
