Annual White Coats Summit
Baptist Health Sciences University HealthCORE is proud to host the Annual White Coats Summit, presented in partnership with community and institutional leaders across the Mid‑South. This dynamic, hands-on event brings health care professionals and students together to spark interest, build connections, and inspire the next generation of health care leaders.
Each year, the Summit features professionals from a wide range of fields—including medicine, nursing, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, advanced practice, health IT, marketing, legal services, administration, and human resources. Students gain real-world insight into the many career paths available in health care through engaging panels, mentorship opportunities, vendor interactions, laboratory demonstrations, and more.
The event is free for students and offers age- and school-level–specific tracks, allowing participants to connect and collaborate with peers at similar stages in their academic journey.
Beyond the Summit
HealthCORE and its community partners create year-round opportunities to connect students with health care professionals through job exploration, shadowing experiences, mentorship programs, and community engagement. We also provide opportunities for professionals to network, receive mentoring training, and grow their own careers while giving back.
