Each registered participant from the Black Men in White Coats Virtual Summit can qualify for a $1,000 scholarship if he or she chooses to participate in Baptist’s Black Men in White Coats Scholarship competition. Please view the pdf listed Scholarship Information for details on the competition.

  • Strengths and weaknesses- Dr. Lilian Nyindodo- MARCH
  • Mapping career- Ms. Michelle Alexander- APRIL
  • Applying to college and professional programs (Scholarships) – Dr. Richard Ewool- MAY
  • Resume/CV/ Personal Statements – Dr. Hazel Aberdeen-JUNE
  • Entrance Exam Prep (ACT, SAT, GRE, MCAT)- Dr. John Parr- JULY
  • Shadowing and community hours- Dr. Hurley Shepherd- AUGUST
  • How to be successful in college and beyond- (Study skills, critical thinking skills etc.)- Dr. Lisa Hight- SEPTEMBER
  • Mock interviews-Dr. Charity Brannen- OCTOBER
