Designated Scholarships

Designated scholarships are established and named by individual donors wishing to provide assistance to the students at Baptist University. Scholarships are awarded by the Financial Aid Office in accordance with the criteria established by the donor.

Designated scholarships are designed to award over one academic year, and may be renewed annually.

Minimum Contribution: $250 per awarded scholarship per academic year.

Endowed Scholarships

Naming an endowed scholarship is an opportunity to perpetuate your interest in Baptist University or to recognize or memorialize a loved one, friend, classmate, or business. All students who receive a named scholarship are made aware that others share a commitment to their education.

Endowed scholarships are designed to preserve and grow the original principal by paying out minimal scholarship amounts each academic year and accumulating any excess earnings. Scholarships are awarded by the Financial Aid Office in accordance with the criteria established by the donor.

Minimum Contribution: $10,000

Following the establishment of an Endowed Scholarship, the donor will receive annual reports, which will include the name(s) of scholarship recipients, the amounts awarded, and the current balance of the fund.

Baptist University has several existing scholarships that are funded by alumni and friends of the college.
