In 1874, Dr. Andrew Taylor Still pioneered the osteopathic medical philosophy, emphasizing wellness and the importance of treating illness within the context of the whole body. This June, Baptist University College of Osteopathic Medicine (BUCOM) is honoring the rich history and evolution of osteopathic medicine as we eagerly count down to welcoming our first cohort of students this fall!

From Dr. Still's groundbreaking work to the global recognition of osteopathic principles, we've seen incredible advancements in holistic patient care. Now, as BUCOM opens its doors, we are excited to carry this legacy forward with a modern curriculum rooted in these foundational principles.

Join us in celebrating this remarkable journey and the bright future ahead for our students and the field of osteopathic medicine. Here’s to 150 years of innovation, wellness, and compassionate care!
