Black Men in White Coats: Building Diverse Health Care Professionals Virtual Summit
Register for Baptist Memorial Health Care’s Black Men in White Coats: Building Diverse Health Care Professionals Virtual Summit on Saturday, Feb. 27 from 9–10:30 a.m. Participation is free, but space is limited.
The Black Men in White Coats Video Series and mentoring program was designed to inspire high school, college and graduate students interested in pursuing health care careers as physicians, pharmacists and respiratory therapists or in support roles, such as IT, marketing, legal, human resources and more.
This free online event includes a recap of the Black Men in White Coats movie, a panel discussion and information on future programming and mentoring opportunities. Participants will also have the chance to connect with professionals and access resources in the virtual expo area.
Each registered participant will receive a gift box in the mail prior to the summit and can qualify for a $1,000 scholarship if he or she chooses to participate in Baptist’s Black Men in White Coats Scholarship competition.
Deadline to register is Thursday, Feb. 18 at 6 p.m., so don’t wait.
